If you look over our complete product line, one of the things you will notice is that there are a lot of different products with many different options. Our approach with our products has been to offer versatile options so you can choose a configuration that exactly fits your needs, thus keeping your cost down. However it can be initially confusing for you to figure out which product you should be looking at. To assist you we have provided the following information and a Product Selection Tool to help you find the product(s) which can be configured to match your requirements.
Asentria has two primary product lines, the Remote Site Controller line and the Telecom Site Controller line. The Telecom Site Controller line is primarily focused on applications involving collecting and storing large numbers of data records such PBX call records or SNMP Traps. The Remote Site Controller line is primarily used for alarm and monitoring applications at remote sites. However, these two product lines are related and they share many of the same features.
The way to get started in the right direction is to pick the primary purpose the product will be used for. These can be broken down into the following choices:
